Kev really likes these and misses them while we are here, so I set about making my own so that I could eat them too. Beware though they are quite big. One served with a salad is a big lunch, but very enjoyable!

Ingredients
300g bread crumbs
Salt
Pepper
Sausage meat 400g
Flour (any type)
6 eggs
100g grated cheese
Oil to cook

Boil 4 of the eggs until hard and cool down in cold water. Peel and dry.
Put the oil on to heat up. You need it nice and hot.
Split the sausage meat into 4 equal parts. Dip in the flour and roll out to about 1 cm thick
Put an egg into the middle of the sausage meat and wrap the meat around the egg. Try to cover the whole egg and have no joins in the meat.
Beat the last 2 eggs in a bowl big enough to put the wrapped egg in.
Put the bread crumbs, seasoning and cheese into a bowl and mix together.
Dip the covered egg into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs and coat thoroughly.
Place into the hot fat and fry until golden brown...about 10 minutes turning it over if it is not covered by the oil.
Repeat with the rest of the hard boiled eggs.
