Today we had our pig delivered. Kev spent the day boning and jointing it. Our freezer is now full once again...just in time for Christmas.
We are salting some of the meat to make bacon, streaky, back, 2 hocks - one to be made into a ham.
I have made green tomato chutney ready for the Christmas pork pie. I can´t quite get my head around it being December already. The sun still shines here and it doesn´t seem like the  Christmas season. We have so much to do before our visitors arrive on the 17th and not that long to do it. Looks like we will be really busy in the next two weeks.
