Today my mum and dad left to return to England for the new year. We set about tidying up the garden and preparing it for the new seedlings in February.
I managed to strim half of the garden...2 hours carrying a strimmer is arms and shoulders are aching now. I started weeding the herb wheels too, but am beginning to think the mint needs digging up and resowing. It looks a bit worse for wear.  The trouble is when you do one job it creates another and so the list becomes never ending.
It´s looking tidier now but has highlighted how much weeding there is to do and I only have one week off from work.

Kev went out again looking for wood, we now have another big pile in the garden waiting to be chopped up.
