Today at 10am the shepherd turned up with 20kg of pigs fat to mince. About 30 minutes later it was all done thanks to my electric mincer we bought in the summer. He will be back tomorrow with his meat to mince up. He is making chorizo and hopefully we will get given some as a thankyou for loan of the mincer.
Today I made Haslet and pork-pies and got all the meat chopped and minced for the sausage making day that will be tomorrow.
