Beginning of January and we were supposed to be starting the conversion on the garage while I am off work, but time seems to have got away from us. We managed to empty and sort the contents and get it all stored in Kev´s shed...and that took days!!! The previous owner was a massive hoarder...you would not believe what we found...

Decided to have the builder back to convert the garage as Kev is getting bogged down with all the work needing to be done and I am not here to help him much. So we have a quote just to complete the basics...new concrete floor, windows, french doors, en suite bathroom (to be finished by us) and walk in wardrobe...

We went out and bought the fruit trees, apples, pears, cherries, plums, peaches, nectarines and apricots. They are year old trees so wont produce fruit for a while but the idea is to use them for jams, wine and scrumpy! We have planted them in the space between the shed and the chicken run to make a fruit forrest. I am now building stone paths between the trees with the rocks that came out of the swimming pool hole! (No the builders still have not been back...excuse...too cold!!!!) We have also decided to build 2 circular wheel beds for my herbs and spices that I want to grow. A lot of work ahead, but it will be worth it when I am using the herbs to cook with.

Ok so don´t know what is going on with the chicken we bought (Pots)...looks like she is growing tail feathers and becoming a he!!!! Oh well if so at least we can breed chicks.
